Upload Probs

Hiya been using ftp for quite a while now tryin to upload some new amvs to the site

when connecting in Filezilla, FlashFXP, or IE... it just times out

ive increased the timeout threshold to 600 seconds and it still times out

is it somethin im doin wrong? usin port 21 an exact login details...

any advice would be much appreciated thx

if you have a firewall (windows or other), try disabling it while uploading (or turn it to a low(er) setting)

in filezilla, you may want to go into the settings, and under the firewall tab, click on "enabale passive mode"

tried with and without my firewall

windows firewall is disabled *shakes fist at microsoft*

i run an ftp server know it pretty well, seems to me that Kero.AnimeMusicVideos.org isnt responding ive tried a variety of diff ways and its no go at all

you need a client side ftp
there is a link to the client side filezilla in my sig

uhm sorry but i stated in first post

FlashFXP <-- excellent client
FileZilla <-- free

also tried with explorer as it states in the helpful post on uploading

for hosting my server i use GuildFTPdaemon


just this one time the address is not functioning

can even post details... keeps timing out in all approaches

The server at kero.animemusicvideos.org is taking too long to respond.


explorer sez Details : The Operation timed out

with just the kero.animemusicvideos.org link it resolves i to 69.26.178.19

filezilla gets Status: Connecting to 69.26.178.19 ...
Error: Unable to connect!
Status: Waiting to retry... (5 retries left)
Status: Connecting to 69.26.178.19

get timeouts after 600 seconds in flashfxp


i even made another entry hoping it was something i did wrong

new address times out as well...


No Firewall, No Router, No other FTP or upload probs
