The Nature Of My Next Video
One of the rules on this site is that your videos can't bee overly violent. Well the clips in my next video are from Ninja Resurrection and that is a pretty violent anime. I was wondering if it could be viewed before being posted so I'll know if there is anything I need to change about the content before I post it?

Usually violence in this case refers to "realistic" gore, like the stuff you'd find in Elfin Lied and Gantz. It's always good to have a second opinion though.

Since I haven't seen either of those anime yet does it mean that the gore in them depict many people disembowled and huge amounts of blood spray?

Yes, and it's very graphic about what it shows. Gantz had to be heavily censored when they put it on late night TV in Japan and the first DVDs they produced even had to be censored because of the level of gore.Geist0 wrote:Since I haven't seen either of those anime yet does it mean that the gore in them depict many people disembowled and huge amounts of blood spray?

Hey, i'm just another user here. Don't take my word as law or anything. Actually show the video to someone here or at least post it as an indirect link to get feedback and see if it's actually against the TOS.
I also think you misunderstood my intent in replying to this. I was trying to reasure you that it probably wasn't as bad as you thought and that you may be able to host it here by giving the most extreeme example I could think of for somethign that wouldn't be appropriate.
Seriously, though, wait a bit and let someone with authority find this thread and see if they wouldn't mind taking a look at it for you.

This is a pretty surprising guideline. I just watched the 2006 viewer's choice award for horror/terror category, and I'd say it was one long mass slaughter colored mostly in blood and gore. If that's allowed as far as the winner of an award like this, I can't imagine the site rejecting 'just gory' works too easily.
