i dont believe in the hosatchel rating system, it has to be even more bull than the star rating here... (most of them are higher on the tube btw)

if i upload a my amv (not ready let) on hosatchel
and get a bad comments on it. i don't really care cause the good comments will out numbers it.
i also don't care about the rating system. if i get a high rating for a crappy video that good for me.
that mean that more people will watch it.

Praise and good comments are all fine and dandy, but they don't help you improve. If people keep praising you for your crap, then you will be dilluded into thinking your crap is good and will keep putting the same crap out. Besides, if you're praised no matter what, there is no reason for you to want to improve. Now, if you put out crap and people give you negative comments and constructive critisism, then you will want to improve and put out something truly good. And with the constructive critism, you know what you need to improve on so you can get better and maybe actually deserve the good comments. That's one of the things I like about here. Many people will actually be honest. And since this is only amvs and not other stuff, they usually know what they're talking about. Yeah, I sometimes get ripped a new one, but it only helps me get better. So if you like ass kissing and non-stop praise, by all means, stay over there.

im not going to deny that a-m-v.org also has crappy videos,

but the thing is MY stuff is NOT crappy when i make it (atleast not anymore

), youtube DEGRADES it when it goes up on their site, and often times screws up any sync that might have been in the audio, its frustrating to see MY OWN work degraded in such a way...
