Colossalcon 2006 AMV Contest Results

Post by ngsilver » Sun Jun 04, 2006 11:39 pm

Alright, the scores were tabulated and the winners announced. Here are the results:

Best Drama:
Valion - Lovers End

Best Action/Upbeat:
Lil' Yakka Productions - Dreaming of Darkness

Fan Favorite:
Lil' Yakka Productions - Dreaming of Darkness

Best Technical:
Hoshizora Productions - All New For '72

On the Iron Editor front, the battle was tough and the decision was a difficult one. However the results are in and the winner of the Colossalcon Iron Editor competition is none other then Nat-chan!!!

In an unexpected last moment decision the origional challanger, Leon, decided to not come to the convention because he was called into work. So stepping up to the plate to keep the crowed entertained and allow the show to go on, Nat-chan decided to edit in his place against Raven1841. And won. Full details as well as copies of the competing videos will be available soon at http://www.ngsilver.com/ironeditor/

Holy crap, I won something! I wish I could have been there. Stupid geography, always getting in the way. :x

BTW, do you know why ColossalCon shows up under the list of conventions on a-m-v.org, but there's no checkbox to actually add it in the participation list for a video?

Wait, wait, wait. You made a new vid? Why wasn't I informed of this?! :O

But seriously, congrats on the win. Can't wait for you to upload your new one.

I had apparently closed the contest not knowing that would stop people from adding their videos to it. It's open again so you should be able to add your videos.

Gundam suit "ad" AMV

Post by Otakette » Wed Jun 14, 2006 1:26 pm

Who did the Gundam suit "ad"? I think it was #10 or #11 on the program. Unfortunately I didn't write the info down.

I'd really like a copy of it if it's available for download. It was great!!!!

Thanks!

Since he rarely checks the forums,

The Gundam Seed Ad:

He probably won't post it until after Anime Expo.
