What's the best way to convert to AVI?PEG with subtitles?

Post by Bushido Philosopher » Sat Jul 13, 2002 6:18 pm

Normally I would just run the video through a D2V file in TMGEnc, but that does not include the subtitles from the IFO file.

So what's the best way I can do this?

It's really supposed to say AVI/MPEG in the title.

Use avisynth to import your dvd2avi project to TMPG.

Use directvobsub (avisynth version) to use the .ifo subs in your avisynth script OR rip them with subripper and add them that way.

Follow the guides on Doom9.org for more detailed info.
