Post by Dzain » Mon Apr 17, 2006 9:51 pm

:?:
I've waited something like 3 hours

Is there some place that status updates are posted? The only way I can imagine to find out when I can upload is to keep trying, but I don't want to have multiple files waiting in the queue. Any pointers on where to look?

well, a good indicator is clicking on the search for amvs button in your members main page.
you will be taken to a page with more buttons (yay...we really like our buttons  )
one of them says new videos, click it.
if you see a lot of red "No" or "none" at the far right of every video description (you should click thorugh a few pages before arriving at conclusions) then the queue is probably broken

if there are a lot of green "local" then the queue is working fine

since i'm new here i didn't realize that the queue was broken when I uploaded my second video (my first one worked just fine) as a result I uploaded multiple times not realizing the previous tries were still in line, as a result i now have three of the same video waiting to be uploaded, am I able to delete them or do I have to wait until they get through?

I'm pretty sure that you can delete the request, but it might not take effect until the server is fixed again. (that is, the server might not take it off the list right away, but you can delete when the server is in this "broken" state)
at any rate you would loose your "place in line"
