It's a new option! Once you enter it you are tyhe mod of that contest and even get to verify all who said they entered in the catalog

Well, having to add the contest to the calendar for it to show up on the list is nothing new, but the whole verification of entrants is new...

But how do you stop people who aren't the contest coordinators from adding contests to the calendar? I used to do this myself for contests whose deadlines were coming up and who weren't on the calendar yet, before the system was improved.

None right now, but if someone else enters it and the coordinator shows up, then we admins can change control to the coordinator... The the best that can be done for now.. but it's a start

Important announcement. A temporary upload FTP is being set up to take in last minute entries. There are only a few slots for uploading so DON'T RELY ON IT IF YOU CAN STILL SEND A PACKAGE. The only people who should request an FTP upload should be people who have no chance of sending a package in the next few days. For those people, please follow these instructions.

People who upload are restricted to 1 entry...

Your upload should consist of a TXT file of the completed entry form and the video.

Then for further instructions, send an email of the entry form to vgp@telusplanet.net Subject: Kawaii-Kon AMV FTP, if a slot is still available, you will receive a reply with FTP upload info.

Again, this is a limited availability, only request an account if there's no way you can send a package.

(side note, a confirmation list of entries so far will be posted monday night, check back for your entries and email me if you dont see your name.)

The entering time for Kawaii-Kon's AMV is now closed & deadline is passed. Thank you to all who entered, we got a very healthy mix of work from everyone, and hopefully many of you will be in attendance in Hawaii to see the crowd watch your entry.

I believe I'll have time to show a great deal of the entries, too.
