FF X-2 Lenne Shuyin reuniting
So, I've seen a lot of really good Lenne/Shuyin AMV's, but out of all of them, I've never seen any that have Lenne and Shuyin actually reuniting at the very end of the game. That would be so romantic! Anyway, I get that it's difficult getting in-game footage, but I've seen it done before, so I know it's possible. Why hasn't anyone done this yet? And if someone already has, and I've just been too dumb to find it, could someone point it out? I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Spoilers!
Final Fantasy X-2 is the sequel to Final Fantasy X. In the first game, you meet Tidus and Yuna. Yuna is a Summoner who must go on a Pilgrimage to the Ancient City of Zanarkand, which is a ruin now because it was destroyed a thousand years ago by a monster called Sin. The thing is, Tidus believes he grew up in Zanarkand... In the end, Tidus finds out that he actually grew up inside the dream world of Zanarkand, which is created by the Fayth - the souls of those who died in Zanarkand. Sin is what allows that dream world to exist, and when Yuna and Tidus destroy Sin, the dream fades, and Tidus goes with it.
In the second game, Yuna and her cousin Rikku, along with a newbie named Paine, discover that Tidus may still exist, and because Yuna is in love with him, she and her friends go looking for him. But instead of finding Tidus, they find Shuyin, who really IS from Zanarkand and who looks exactly like Tidus. The Shuyin they encounter is the spirit of a man who lived a thousand years ago and who loved another Summoner named Lenne. He mistakes Yuna for Lenne, by the way. Anyway, before Zanarkand was destroyed, it was at war with another city called Bevelle. Zanarkand had Summoners, Bevelle had weapons. One weapon was called Vegnagun. Shuyin snuck into Bevelle to use Vegnagun to end the war and save Lenne, who had been sent to the front lines. In the end, Lenne followed him there to stop him, because using Vegnagun would have destroyed the world. They were both killed there. Now, Lenne's spirit or something is inside of Yuna, which is why Shuyin mistook her for the woman he loved. His spirit wants to use Vegnagun again to destroy the world, and Yuna has to stop him.
That's pretty much the basic plot. It's really good. One of my favorite's.

That is a really good question. There have been twelve final fantasy games, plus Final Fantasy Tactics and a couple of others... Each of the Final Fantasies are on different worlds with different characters - Final Fantasy X is the first one to gain a real sequel. Final Fantasy VII was given a sequel, too, but it's a movie, not a game, called Final Fantasy Advent Children. Anyway, I have no idea why it's called Final Fantasy.

I've heard that they called the first FF that because Square was in serious financial trouble at the time and they didn't know if they'd be able to make any more after that. But then it was a success, and the name stuck.isamu-kun wrote:wow so umm why do they call it final fantasy?
However, I've never gotten this confirmed anywhere.

There are actually about three different endings to FFX-2. The Normal Ending. The Good Ending. And the Perfect Ending. Depending on which ending you get, they don't get back together, they see each other one last time but don't get back together, or they do get back together. Which ending you get depends on how much of the game you actually decide to play. It's very frustrating.isamu-kun wrote:hmmmm so does yuna and tidus ever get together???

Final Fantasy 12 is not out in America yet, so I haven't had the chance to play it. I do know that it takes place on the same world that is seen in Final Fantasy Tactics, which is cool - though it doesn't have the same characters. Anyway, I think the hero wants to become a pirate or something and the heroine is a rebel princess. I don't know.
Anyway, I'm still wondering about Lenne and Shuyin from FFX-2 and why there aren't any music videos with the two of them reuniting.
