*Sigh* if someone would be kind enough...

Post by BagpipePaul » Tue Feb 14, 2006 6:23 pm

Yes, hello. Before I go any further, I'd like to admit outright that, yes, I am in fact very much a noob at making AMV's. (although I have enjoyed viewing them very much, and am not a noob at downloading any). Now, I've finally created an AMV of my own and...Well, heck, I'm not going to pussyfoot around my problem any longer. I've completed the AMV but am having a problem with ftp. Yes, I have indeed read MonnSlayer's guide, and yes, I do feel like a complete idiot for not being able to accomplish something that a guide for retards tells me exactly how to do. Whenever I try to connect to the ftp address in the address bar, it never will connect, but will always say "530 login error." When, it hasn't even ask for any login information yet. I think I could fix the problem by just canceling my upload request and then re-requesting it, and possibly get informaiton that works. Some help would be nice, and look, if there's some other thread that answers this, then please send me a link, and don't forget to call me a moron. Thanks for any help, and have a happy Valentine's Day

what browser are you using? ftp://kero.animemusicvideos.org/ works fine in IE... otherwise you will have to get an actual FTP client

The only reason I use Firefox is that it's less of a target for spyware/adware. IE has always been a more efficient [using less RAM and CPU] and ironically less buggy browser for me, because more support exists for it.
