I'm installing Avisynth and when I do the test, some of the screens in MP come up just blank-- black-- not garbled, or with an error message of somesort. It'll run through the length of the clip fine, but I don't see anything in the media players window. I'm just not sure if that is no big deal, or if it means I have a problem.
I tried to get a screen shot on here, but for some reason it won't show up (although it does in a word doc). It's black for the first test and the colorbar test. The d2v test is fine, and so is the yuy2 and yv12 tests. The last test for RGB32 comes out blank-- black like the first two tests. It runs through it on the Media Player, I just can't see the words that the AMVapp says I should see.
Now, originally I had Avisynth 2.0 installed ...although the tests came out the same as they are now, so I think it was recognizing 2.5 because I then uninstalled 2.0 and 2.5 and reinstalled 2.5, as per the guide, and everything was the same. Anyways, that's where I'm at now. I'd like to go ahead with using everything, but I don't want to give myself unnecessary grief is something isn't installed properly.
