Windows Movie Maker screwing up...

Ok i REALLY need some help here...My windows movie maker is having problems. i am working on a tribute and i am almost done. the song is 6 minutes long almost 7 BUT i edited it to only go for about 4:50....my problem is this: at 4 minutes it cuts off fully...the song stops and it skips to the end straight from 4 to the 4:50 mark. I saved as a movie file and it does the same thing. I tried closing the document and re-opening and re-creating the entire thing but the same problem comes up EVEN when i replace the version of the song i edited with the original that worked fully...untill 5 minutes ago....any hints?

Did you make sure to use an uncompressed audio source?

yeah, like i said, it was fully working a little while ago, it has been working for the past *looks at the calender and eyes bug out* 3 months....now, today, when i am almost done...it screws up....
