Good editors for starters?
I was just wondering if anyone could help me out here. First off, I apologize if this has been posted before, but I'm not about to sift through hundreds of pages. Anyways, I just need a little help. I've made a couple videos in the past using WMM 2.0, but lately whenever I try to load a clip the program just closes. I'm waiting until I can afford Adobe Premiere, but right now I can't. So my question is basically this: what's a good video editing software I could get, preferably free? I don't really know much about all this AMV mumbo-jumbo. I've watched 'em for a while, but have never really gotten into them. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks ^^;

Disabling the codec isn't the answer; the answer is either converting the footage to a different codec that IS editable or serving the clips via, say, AVISynth. More on both those methods here.CHS_BanMidou wrote:Er, sorry about the double post. Pwolf's post didn't register until after I posted. Anyways, how do I disable the codec then if that is what's causing my troubles? I've never dealt with codecs before.
