My upload information never worked, help!

Yes, that's right. The upload information that I recieved for my video never worked on the ftp cilent, and I still don't know why. I keep trying to get the 'video' deleted from the system, but they won't delete it. All I want to do is be able to actually upload the video, and I can't do that. Any suggestions?
