well Im having a hell of a time with this FTP stuff....

I cant get internet explorer to work....

I cant get any one of the 4 ftp programs Ive downloaded to work...

in internet Explorer it gets to about 25% and then says Im not allowed to upload files and kills the connection....

damn confusing...

can anyone help?

Ive been at this all day...

yeah I pretty much dont know what else to do now......should I look at some guides?

read a book on FTP??

im not sure....i tried disabling it......didnt seem to work...im also behind a router..

i dont know any thing about this stuff... :(

if you have firezilla, I can help (I can d/l other programs, but if you have firezilla already, all the better) try enabling passive mode.

these ftp programs crash my computer like mad.....

never thought Id see a blue screen of death on Windows XP...

have you done a thorough scan for both viruses and ad-ware recently?
might want to try defragmenting your HD &/or clean the windows registry...
(as far as I know, you should have a program to do this [to clean the registry], don't do it manually)

everything that I know (not much, just a bit of experience from messing around with stuff) is telling me that ftp programs shouldn't be causing windows to crash...

hmmmmm.......

well I could probably do a defrag......

i dont think I have scaned for viruses or ad ware recently...

I have up to date virus protection thrue norton.....

thanks for the advice....

mabey one of these years you guys will see a video from me :lol:
