You guys don't have to be so mean and not all bands are horrendous. Don't people have any sympathy these days. It'll be nice if some people would,though. I don't know how some people can live without music though.It's really...pretty sad...

Before this thread gets locked. People are gonna like what they want to like, hate what they want to hate, and flame what they want to flame. Live with it and try not to let it bother you. Complaining about it will get you nowhere.

Tani: the people replying weren't aggravated by your musical tastes (except for NDW), but rather the inability to turn that thread into a purposeful discussion. and when that happens, we have been conditioned to react with a 'ZOMG LOCK! DERAIL DERAIL!!!ONE234EIGHTY!' and gratuitous batman references; we are incapable of attempting to delve deeper into a topic that appears pointless at the start.

No, not all bands are bad, but everybody has different tastes. I usually hate anything that is on the radio (there are no alternative or rock stations here). If you want everyone to like what you like, then you're living in a fantasy world. Everybody is different and has different oppinions and tastes.
If you don't like that, better start following the examples in all those emo songs and kill yourself.

Well, yes, there's that, but also, this particular forum isn't all that good a place to try and discuss general music, what with the tonnes of die-hard metal fans and nobody else and stuff...

I'm sorry that I was "aggravated" by his musical tastes; in actuallity, I don't care whether he listens to the radio or not, I simply can't stand the radio.

Uh...How should I explain and it's going to be a little weird. Some of you may not even believe me, but I did not write that. Someone has been hacking into my account every once in a while, posting meaningless threads. I don't know how, but I guess that person is just some die hard music fan. I don't know. Sorry for this.
