Question about a creator's rights.

I have a question about what might be in control of an AMV creator's rights or not on this site.

If I have made a video for a MEP, but the segment I have for the MEP was created by me and one other person(thus a collaboration), and have sent the video in before the final product is released, do I have a right to refuse that my segemnt(or part of the segment since it was a collab) from being part of the MEP?

I am in a sticky situation since the person I collaborated with wants that segment in the MEP, but I do not.
I am not the one in charge of putting the MEP together, and at this point I really don't know who IS, so it's not like I can mysteriously delete the video from his harddrive, nor know if I have a right to.

The entire MEP has not been finished yet, so I'd like to stop my (part of, atleast) segment from being affiliated with this project.

And last but not least, the actual question at hand is, if the demands/suggestions go unheeded or he does not comply, would it be within my rights as a creator to get a mod/admin to use force to apply my right(if I have it)?

If they won't allow you to delete your own video, what makes you think they'd allow you to delete a double whammy?

That's only if it's hosted on local.

Then it's not up to them. You pretty much have to come to an agreement with the person you collaborated with.

i think he means you fusion from what you dropped in the drop box. am i right? or is it another person sq?

This isn't an issue of rights. This is merely a disagreement between 2 (or more) people. I don't know if you expect by posting here that people will tell you that you are in the right or whatever... but the fact of the matter is, unless you can manage to work out your problems peacibly with one another, then one of you will inevitably be a bitch in the eyes of the other. That's pretty much all there is to it.

Oh.. sorry. well anyway is it a big deal to cut it out? its shouldnt be really. just make the overall vid shorter. That way you both get something.

No no, what I meant by rights was if he didn't would it be within the rights of the one person to use force to make it happen.

I mean, if it wasn't my right, then I wouldn't bother trying to get a mod/admin in on it.

I figured I'd ask first if it came to that conclusion.

The admins/mods can't do anything about something you collaborated on and then it's uploaded. You'd be simply asking for a deletion because you don't want the AMV up. Do they allow you to delete something of your own? No. So will they allow you to delete something you collaborated on? No.
