THE "UNEARTHED" PROJECT!

Post by Vega Sailor » Mon Nov 21, 2005 6:37 pm

IT's finally ready for the public to see! :D

The link below goes to the descrption page, and then just right-click and choose "save target as..." on the "DIRECT" link on the description page.

Cross your fingers they the link works out, and the codec is good.

All right! Already started downloading it (it'll take about 15 min though :?).

Anyone who wants to know my thoughts about my track can go here.

finished downloading it and i must say that i'm impressed with the changes you've made from the Beta to the final copy Vega Sailor. Almost all of the audio glitches are gone and the transitions are much nicer.

All in all i think everyone did an excellent job.

Is it possible for this project to be uploaded in the Org? I mean they do allow sizes above 100 MB for multi-editor projects, right?

Most of the tracks had great editing, this is easily one of the better MEPs to come out as of late.

Track 1 - Great transparency work, one of my favorite tracks
Track 2 - Could've been a little sharper on the timing but I still enjoyed it
Track 3 - Great timing and effects. I liked this one.
Track 4 - OMG SUCKED!!1 >_>
Track 5 - Awkward timing but good action
Track 6 - Good editing and almost all the scenes fit the mood perfectly
Track 7 - Some of the sadder scenes in the beginning didn't fit the song to me and the anime could've been fixed up quality-wise but I really liked the later part with the other song
Track 8 - This one blows my mind o_O Awesome editing but a bit overwhelming. My personal favorite track.
Track 9 - I really liked the effects used. There was obviously a story element involved but I had a hard time understanding what it was.
Track 10 - Interesting anime choice. Effects were nice but there was some small timing issues at the very end.
Track 11 - Not to be harsh but it was kinda boring. Most of the editing was decent but I think a different anime would have worked better.
Track 12 - Great action and timing but too many spoilers :P
Track 13 - A good ending to the project. Editing and effects were nicely done but I wouldn't ditched the white lines that appeared frequently.

My biggest gripe with the project is that Vega didn't fix the aspect ratio problem that half the videos had including mine (16:9 stretched to 4:3, grr). Otherwise, a decently done project. Good job guys. :)
