What is this After Effects Error?

So I am trying to load some videos, but I keep getting this

Same thing for Adobe Premiere too.
Anfter receiving this error many of time and getting pissed off just as many, I decided to re-format. Well, I have a clean PC ^_^ *yay* But Im still getting the error T_T *why me god?*.

iether the video file is corupted or somethings wrong with the codec. Did you install a codec pack by any chance? If so, uninstall it and get the codecs individualy.

You should use bb tages instad of html ones. For images use [img]url[/img]. others you can find on the post page.

Is it the first frame of the video or somewhere in the middle? What codecs are the video's encoded with? Do the videos play back in other programs, like media player?

If the videos aren't encoded losslessly, (like huffy, lagarith or uncompressed) you should re-encode them to a lossless format. If they are, then like bum said, the codec is probably the problem. If reinstalling your codecs doesn't work, try re encoding to a different lossless codec or making it uncompressed.

I am going to try to find all the codecs. Its possible I overwrote my old codecs with a pack Installed called K-Lite Codec Pack.
I guess Im gonna have to find DivX, Xvid and Picvideo. T_T
So much just to load a video into a video program. *sigh* lol.

DONT use divx or Xvid in After effects. Thats the problem. Use a Lossless codec.

Why is that? and what codecs would you suggest? is Picvideo okay?
The videos that I wanting to import into adobe premiere and AE are FF7 AC and Kingdom hearts videos: Deep Dive and Super Secret. All three of these are, I believe, originally in Divx/Xvid How do I work with them then?
One last thing. . .
Neither programs seemed to had a problem with videos like these in the past. Why would it change?
In order to be able to learn from this situation, I just wish to be able to ask these few question. I am merely trying to understand it better, so please do not take those questions as argumentative inquiries.

Okay, I'll try to convert them into Huffy. But two things...
1. That doesn't really tell why it worked fine before, and not now.
2. ummm. . .ya. . . since I can't even view the files in an editing program like premiere and AE. . .what do I use to convert them?

That is a bit of a mystery. If you installed the K-Lite pack between then and now, that'll be it (I should know, I am myself a victim of the K-Lite codec pack, from a long way back, and my codec setup still doesn't work right). If not, then it's a mystery. When it did work it was probably responsible for a lot of crashes and innaccurate editing (not to mention the video quality).

Use virtualDubMod to convert (with "fast recompress") to lagarith of huffy files. If you're short on space or want to edit fast, use picvideo MJPEG while you're editing and substitute the file for a huffy file when the project is ready to render.

If you're opening the file in a program that supports avisynth (like premiere), you can simply use an avisynth scipt that says AVISource("divxfile.avi"), and open that in the editing program.

If any of this doesn't make sense to you, look it up in the guides.

I really do appreciate the help. Tomorrow I have a day off, so I'll be tryin all this shit out.
Ya, I don't know if Im just a really dumb F*** or just instinctivly dense to the whole video thing *DAMN THIS CURSE* (the worst thing to have being that I love making/watch AMVs) but I can't seem to figure ANYthing out when looking through those guides. Thats why Im always hitting up the forums.
And you know what. . . I can't thank any of AWSOME cool people *lol^_^* enough for being so patient.
