Is it against TOS to ask where I can find a hosting site for my AMV's... I am very confused about posting and linking to my video basically a place to put it ... something like geocities or something? I am in need of help.

But nowadays the easiest way to host your videos is to upload them to the Org's own dedicated video server ("Upload Video" from the members main page).

So there is no hosting for free... I have tried to upload my video to the site do I need to link it first?

No; when you upload a video, a LOCAL link is automatically created for you.
