What genre do you prefer?

Especially the ones that uses anime that's rarely used and if there's a good use of effects. Those types AMVs always take first priority for me.

I like amvs with... Good solid technical editing. If it flows with the rhythm of the music, and well, just sings to you then it's good.
When you can visually see the sound you're hearing, THAT'S a good amv...

I personally like best videos that express a certain atmosphere and cast fellings and emotions. To my mind a video is not defined by its effects, it's much more difficult if you have a concept that is not based on random action-scenes, but on a straight story-line. A good video should just have an acceptable visual-quality and an idea behind it. Action-videos have a low reviewable count in average, while you can watch a drama over and over again, enjoying the atmosphere.

Really upbeat dance videos are probebly the best followed
closely by comedy.
I watch these and gives me that o so good feeling. Romance videos, although sometimes touching, require you to be in the mood to watch it. So chose comedy or dance becsause , more often than not people are in the mood to watch these!

Comedy first....
I really like the AMVs that tell a story. I like the ones that are well thought out and planned, so people who haven't seen the particular anime being featured can still get a feel for what's going on.
Oh. "Less is more" editing rates high for me as well. Loads of SFX really isn't my cuppa.
