Videos easier to watch on tv, a con, or your computer?

I enjoy watching them at Cons the most. That's a big reason I go to them, especially ones that have a nice setup (AnimeBoston, Otakon, etc...). However, I usually plug my laptop to a 50" TV and watch them that way. It's mainly because I can lounge comfortably on the couch.
I don't mind watching them on my desktop though because I have a good quality LCD screen and the speaker setup isn't bad. I just prefer watching them on a bigger screen when possible.

For watching my own vids, definitely at cons. There is such a nice rush that comes with getting immediate crowd feedback on a public showing like that.
For normal vids in general, definitely on my PC because I can have vids running in the background while I'm doing other internet related things. It passes the time well. I enjoy TV watching also but it is a pain to have to burn them to cd/dvd to do it.

Yes, cons are the best for me.. I never get tired of watching videos on the big screen with a good sound with a group of people! That's the way it should be
Frankly at home it's not the same.. Hence why I try to show blocks (or even complete tracks) at all the cons I'm involved in around this area

I've never been to a con but would like to someday =)
For the question asked :: I like to watch music videos on my computer and on tv. It's a pain to burn music videos onto a dvd but it's nice sometimes to lounge on the couch and just watch it on tv with the surround sound on where you can hear the music louder than on my computer speakers. ^.~

i prefer con, like said,
cons give you a HUGE projected screen...HUGE speakers..big room...many screens
comon, its like a movie theatre...
i would never go TV......i have a 19" lcd as it is, and its much better than my 12 in TV...
i am a college student, i am poor
so i dont have a nice ass plasma widescreen wall mounted television, with dual surround sound. -_- plus converting amv to dvd ready is kinda annoying..

TV / computer (interchangable given the correct hook-ups) is fine for most vids for me. It always seems like the hive-mind wins out in comedy and action at cons. Everything seems 100 times funnies when there are hundreds of people amplifing the laugh (contageous laughter) even if you can pick out the flaws later. On the other hand, effects-laden vids and dramas often loose something with the projector. Lines seem blured, colors fadded, and effects loose their 'wow' factor sometimes.
I'd prefer to watch on a TV (from a computer) in a small group so i can really see what was made, how it was made to be seen.
