Using Windows Movie Maker, taking sound off of clips...??

I just found out i have WMM, so im not 100% on how to use it yet. how do i take the sound of the original clips off? any help would be greatly appreciated. you can IM on iheartkyonkichi if you feel like offering more information than i have asked for. THANKS A BUNCH!
