What type of music is the best to use?

What is the best music to use on amvs? I have done a few but there not on this site yet. The music i use is not really good, such as Michael Jackson and the lord of the rings theme. So i was wondering which music would be best and will be very catchy.

Seriously, dude, use whatever you think goes best with your idea of your video. Popular or catchy music does not a good video make.

And what's wrong with Michael Jackson and Howard Shore?

Anyway, Scintilla's right. Any genre of music can be used to make a good AMV, the only limits are the ability and creativity of the editor.

Yea, you probably shouldn't ask questions like that, it take away from the creativity aspect. Also, it sounds like you are trying to appeal to people, dont try to. No matter what you do, some people will love you video and some will hate you for it, just use what you think fits best. Be creative, that what making AMVs is all about.

You can use whatever you want, but for origonality use music that no-one else has, if you dont care use linkin park

x infinity, although I read your second sentence as a little off. To me, it reads that you can't make a good video if you use popular or catchy music. I like "Popular or catchy music doesn't guarantee a popular or catchy video."
