Really, all we are looking for now is a couple more for Horror/Terror, and a Dance vid or two if you have them to submit. Notice the Dance category had a name change to Theme/Dance, so as to include vids based heavily on synch/lipsynch/effects/etc... (Which is what "Priss LIVE!" fits into. A damn fine vid, too, I don't mind saying.)

We absolutely will not be accepting any more comedy entries.

We'd prefer to not have any more action, drama, and romance entries.

The final numbers:

Trailer: 3

- Estimated contest panel time: 2 hours
- When will it be?: PROBABLY Saturday, October 1st, sometime between 11am and 1pm (Exact date and time pending.)
- Where will it be?: At Archon 29, in the Gateway Center in Collinsville Illinois.
- When will winners be announced?: Saturday night.
- Where will winners be announced?: In front of the anime room, front left wing of the Holiday Inn. Additionally, winners will be posted here on the AMV forums using the hotel's WiFi connection.
- What will winners recieve as a prize?: 1st place in each category wins a certificate, as well as a Gantz or Elfen Lied DVD. Runners up in each category get a certificate. All participants will be eligible to recieve a recorded version of the contest on CD at a later date.

Additionally, there are 3 extra categories: Best effects, Judges' Choice, and Crowd Favorite. Winners in each of these categories will recieve a certificate.

Next year, we hope to have better prizes... but unfortunately, being as this year is the "test year", we didn't have much of a budget.

I hope that eveyrone's trust and hope for this contest pays off, and the show goes off without a hitch.
