lol, thank's Mr.Panda.
I'm not really referring to those who use WMM as losers (that would be pretty stupid, since I use WMM

I feel compelled to point out that Cyanna's video "F L C AL", made with Windows Movie Maker 2 and no effects other than straight cuts and fades, got into the Upbeat/Rhythm category at Otakon this year with apparently more votes than my own "Waka Laka (for Osaka)", made with Adobe Premiere Pro and having <s>blinding</s> 2D effects all over the place.Radical_Yue wrote:That and because of the fact that it really is hard to win a contest on WMM. I mean if you have the choice of voting for something with amazing effects and perfect quality that was made on something like Adobe Premiere, or the choice of something that has only the mediocre effects of WMM, and fuzzy quality video that WMM causes, what would you choose?
I also feel compelled to point out that, at Otakon 2004, Kusoyaro's <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... >Buttercup video came very close to beating VicBond007's <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... elieve" in the very same category. Same deal there: Kusoyaro's video wasn't made in WMM, but it could have been, and Vic's was a shiny happy AE-fest.
And the voting was done by the audience members at the con.
Only two examples. I am sure there are many more.
Oh, and WMM does not cause fuzzy quality. People just don't know how to properly export from it.
