You haven't turned interlacing off and Magix full-interlaces everything by default. Right click on EVERY SINGLE clip on your timeline, select "object properties", then click the radio buttons next to "no interlace-processing" and "full frames (non-interlaced)". It drives me berserk too, but it's a small price to pay for an awesome editing system acquired for USD 12.
