*.SMD audio file

Now here's a tough one fo you: Mortal Kombat Trilogy. PC version. Sub Directory \sound and \sound2 . many files called *.snd in them, but i cant open any of them. thay are not the usual .snd files.

If anyone knows of a program that can help my, or just point my in a general direction, that'd be great.... I'm about to smash my HD with an axe...

There really should be a edit, if only once, or within a time limit button, either way, if that doesn't work, message me and I'll see if I can convert it or get it to play back in a different way. It'll give me something to do besides failing at making amvs.
