Heh, IL-2/Pacific Fighters games are great for making videos in general - even thanks to their awesome replay feature. It not only lets you save and play back any game sessions, it also lets you save and play back all your replay sessions - meaning you can basically edit then save all the camera angles and such, and then just sit back and capture them - instead of messing with camera controls while capturing footage.Coffee 54 wrote:I was hoping you'd work in a pimpage of that video again. Vid's just a really great piece of work.Otohiko wrote:And I again absolutely have to pimp my favorite game video which makes awesome use of the game's great graphics and good camera controls - Kedik's Pacific Fighters video "Come With Me". I think it's my favorite action video in general, actually
Oh what I would've paid for a feature like that (or any replay feature) in SHIII for my last vid
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

In my other other other other life I am a lurker/watcher of non-anime MVs (in fact, before most of the cool kids here started on it, dammit) and a medium-strength Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan. I've only made this so far (save-as, plz, it's DivX and 33 MB).
It's fun. It's different enough from anime editing to throw you off balance - it's not as easy to speed up / slow down things all over the place to make them fit the timing you want, for instance, because it looks more obvious. And various other things.
So anyway. Yes.

I made a non-anime video a couple of months ago using Teen Titans footage. It was a comedy video and it was great, but it didn't meet the criteria for the org. At first, I thought Teen Titans was anime just based on the show's animation, but I guess I was wrong. I still have it and I'm planning on modifying it soon so it can stay on the server. The video is on my ftp server client and you may get it or not depending if my computer is on or off.
