Yes i need 2 know how 2 convert a .rm 2 something wmm can use. Also does anyone know of a Good or better then windows movie maker movie maker that is free. (nothing illegal) Thanks.

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/avtech/ that should be some help. I've never worked with rm since I hate rm and wmv but shouldn't you be able to open it in vdub or vdubmod and save it as an avi?

And there are two stickies at the top of this page naming free video editing progs.

Nope. Try <a href="http://www.eo-video.com">EO Video</a> instead (for no quality loss, use a lossless codec for the conversion).

You could try AVISynth's DirectShowSource() command, but I don't know if it would work.
