Registration Bag Suggestions
I'm working on some ideas for Reg bags for our convention next year and I was wonder what you guys (realistically) would like to see given away in the registration bags.

As a former AMA staffer myself, I ask, have you considered granola bars or something small like that? It's food and it keeps. Remember, your attendees are not always thinking of themselves when they enter that thar dealer's room. Anything with a little protein, a little bit of carbs, and a little bit of sugar can go a long way. And we needn't stick to granola bars... cheese crackers, peanuts, etc. A world of cheap possibilities exist.

From my little experience working conventions, it's a waste of paper putting a ballot in every bag. You end up putting 5,000 ballots in the bags and get less than 100 votes cause that's exactly how many people are still carrying the plastic bag with all its contents into the AMV contest. I'd suggest just having them distributed at the event.Kusoyaro wrote:If there's an AMV contest is voted for by ballot, include one in the bag (as well as ballots people can pick up at the actual event).
Yes, food and water is a good idea.
