Jerky vob files?

Post by silver_moon » Thu Jun 16, 2005 2:13 am

Ok, so I ripped the Fullmetal Alchemist region 1 discs, but when I scan through the vob files in DGIndex, the openings and about the first five minutes of each episode are horribly jerky. It will play for a few seconds, then skip back to some earlier frame and play for another few seconds. The footage is pretty much uneditable. I tried ripping it with both SmartRipper and DVD Decryptor and even on another computer, and I get the same result. The DVDs play fine in my DVD player on my computer. Is there any way I can fix this?

Seconding the multi-angle theory along with x_rex30.

Interested to know if that solves it.

Thanks guys, I got it working now. :) I basically just had to switch DVD Decryptor to IFO mode and pick one of the angles to rip.
