(First thread onlyjust joined today so Hello!)
I recently downloaded FFX2mov so i could rip the Final Fantasy X-2 FMV's off of the DVD Disk the program worked ok so i left my computer on to do the extracting but when it had finished it said it was done and it was...
Except for the fact that there are weird files e.g Zanarkand = Zanarkand.M2V and Zanarkand.WAVE my computer does not recognise the M2V file and when i play the wave file all it plays is the sound i Windows Media Player.
Also i have recently created a AMV for Final Fantasy IX which will be downloadable at http://www.exonia.net/AMV
That is my first AMV but i welcome any criticism so i can improve it.

yes, the .M2V is the video stream, and the .WAV is the audio, you need a program that can combine these, i personally use TMPGEnc Xpress 3.0 which you can can get here:
http://www.pegasys-inc.com
of course ull have only a 30 day free trial unless u buy it, not sure if theres a free version cuase i havnt been to their site for a while.
another program for this would be
DGIndex, which can be obtained via the AMVapp, or here:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/avtech/
i would go with the latter, you should also read that guide because youll learn everything you need to know and more. you may have to re read it though =P i did and i still dont knwo all of it.
and just a heads up, you will have to videos that are messed up due to resolution problems:
the last chapter
no better plan
if you wnat to fix this you will have to follow a simple step by step hex editing guide:
http://www.auniverse.net/anime/msg/inde ... a4d8557e17
oh ya if you have any codec packs installed uninstall them before installing amvapp becuase it may cuase problems, the amvapp pretty much installs all the codecs you need, you may have to go somewhere else to get other codecs, or you can just go through the installer of your old codec pack and ONLY install the ones you need by unchecking all the others.
if you cant find the ones you need im sure someoen on the fourms knows where to get it.
