No, seriously. This topic has just become replies of people going "State X is awesome because I am in it...and these other names that I can drop."

Seems kinda pointless and like a penis comparing contest to me.

...and in reality, it's not like the State is the reason why some people are talented. It's their creativity, technical ability, wit, patience, etc. None of that is derived from where you edit and thus I don't see the point to this other than the already-stated reason of ego inflation.

Also, on the topic of conventions, I do believe Florida has the most anime conventions out of any state. I think Snackpants last counted 14, and I know there are more forming.
