Need criticism

I can't find any decent opinions of my AMVs. From my friends all I hear is "Sweet," but it's ridden with bias. I want to know exactly what I'm doing wrong, or not doing before I get any further in depth into Rabbit Hole #7, and buy some expensive software to give me better visual effects, control, ect. No need to waste $150 on some software just to look like a punk.
For all I know, my AMVs might be on the good scale, but just lack a spammed vote to boost ratings (I don't know if this happens or not...)

I also don't want people to tell me anything that wouldn't help, like "I liked it when you did..." would work because I know what works, and "It was lame of you when..." is great, so long as you say specifics.
