How do you edit an AC3 or DTS audio?

Post by Eek-1 » Sun Apr 03, 2005 9:12 am

I have a live performance audio that I want to edit. I want to remove some of the applause and then apply fades to it. Because the footage has 6 channels, I might have to separate it to a few stereo WAVs first. But I want the final audio back in AC3/DTS format with little loss in quality. Could someone advise me a software that can convert the audio back and forth? Or is there a simpler way I could edit the AC3 / DTS straight, like MP3 surgeon?

Nevermind, I found Maven3D. It's a great program that can import AC3 directly.
