literally - making AMV's w/o 3D programs ....

Post by post-it » Wed Mar 02, 2005 3:38 pm

Howdy
- I have ventured-out into the Making of Video Animations via Hand-Drawings
and making Visual-Basic Scripts for motion-backgrounds.

I was just wondering, considering that I'm soooooo new at this kinda thing,
if there were any Animation Programs that were already packaged for Sale
to Animators which might have "already" been made available for public use?

... no, I'm not being mean - I literally would like to find a better way to do
the Animation part of the AMV process than having to "just rely on a TV series"
for the scene's in which to gain my "footage" from!

( I'd like to make my own AMV's - from scratch ( if possible. ) )

------------ any idea's ?

I should be back to this message in about a week or so ^^ -- THx all ^_^

Macromedia's Flash, Hash's Animation Master, Blender.

3D isn't the issue: if you're good enough you can make 3D look like 2D.

Maya but its a 3d thing...

Also, heres a unconvetional style of anime..

Use games like "the Sims"
any GTA
or "Never Winter Nights" where yoy have 100% control of everything.

Planetside, Halo and those, are hard to mimic what you want, but NWN you can make your own RPG story telling and use the FRAPS to record it.

One of the project I am working on soon.
Will be asking for individual helps here to create it online and have other people be my actors and play the part right.
Basically a recorded, FULL DDICATED no, B.S Role Playing Game with a script, dialog and story into it.
Everythng will be manipulated and hopefulyl half the people are recording as well to get different angles.

If you happen to understand Japanese you can get "Frametoon" http://www.portalgraphics.net/ja/frt/products.html
Which is basically from the people that brought you opencanvas.

Oh Yeah!

FrameToon . . . this is what I've been doing Manually, with Visual Basic, and
it is Completely 3D free ^___^ - I like this ^_~

THx all, looks like the only thing I need now ... is . . . umm . . ~_~ talent!

P.S. the 3D thing is dead, to me, unless they have a program that can render
it 2D with only Color Shading for the silhouette shadows ^^

and, again, Thx all 8-)

re- . . . this program does not let me do what needs to be done; from a
creational point of view!

Howdy ^_^

- after playing with this program, and a few other programs I've tested,
I was surprised how well my own Visual Basic 4 Animation Program
worked while comparing it to the programs that others have written for
animation. ( I must be on to `something good, design and rendering! )
. I'll still keep in touch from time to time and an upload
of what my/our program can do - should be uploaded by Summer Break 2005.

. In answer to what the FrameToon can do by its design
can best be discribed as a Macro-Media-Flash-Animator. ( not quite what I
had in mind ~_~ )
I also checked-out Anim8or ( www.anim8or.com ) and got lost in its 3D design.

Traxx has actually become a Working Company, but not a profitable one yet,
and this program that we are developing should solve a few problems for
many-many people. ( it is literally an Animation-Charater type Program. )

we'll keep plugging along on this design and I promise to keep you informed
on updates ( not silly little tid-bits ) and provide visual updates when we have
them ^_^

Good luck to all, and ... I like the new LOGO ^_~
