AMV Making on Linux.

Post by keiohki » Wed Mar 09, 2005 9:54 pm

Has anyone serious taken a stab at making AMVs on linux? I know that cinelerra is out there and there are professional turnkey systems out. Is it possible to make a comparable workspace with what's available on windows and mac?

Just for laughs I priced Smoke (which is a professional package, not even sure if there was a Linux version, IRIX only probably). Whew. Yeah, I paid less for my car AND my computer put together. :)

If you're referring to discreet's Smoke, I think there is a Linux version available.
