Stuck on Vic's DVD Footage guide

Sadly I'm stuck already I have got as far as writing the first part of the script in notepad when I try to load the script in VirtuaDub I receive the following error:-
VirtuaDub Error
Avisynth open failure:
MPEG2Source : Unable to load file "C\Documents and Settings\Laura\My Documents\amv\maria.dv2"
(C:\Documents and Settings\Laura\My Documents\amv\maria.dv2, line 3)

Here is my script in Notepad:-
LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\MPEG2Dec3.dll")
LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\Decomb521.dll")
MPEG2Source("C:\Documents and Settings\Laura\My Documents\amv\maria.dv2")

Ok I have literally uninstalled all the programs etc to be used and started the guide again from scratch just in case I missed anything but I'm receiving the exact same error. I cant get any further until I get this running.
