Yeah, I've seen the trailer, and my reaction was HOLY CRAP.[/i] I hope Appleseed doesn't turn out to be a "pretty looking picture with no real content" however.

The DVD's sitting on my table. I'm waiting to watch it until Exams are over, but it's puuuuuurty...

I've seen it and it's definitely great. The CG style takes a little getting used to, though.

There's a fair amount of substance under the flashy fighting, too. I mean, it IS some of Shirow's work.
