I have a general question about 'final destination dictates source type'.
What is the best solution for using a single source for both internet distribution and DVD burning for display on TV (or con for that matter).
a) inverse telecene, edit video at 24P, export as is (this is fine for internet), then use aviSynth to 'telecene' and "Progran x" (not sure which one to use) to sync the audio with new 29.970 interlaced video...
b) inverse telecene, edit at 24P, export as is; for DVD burning in TemPEG (or similar Mpeg2 encoder) keep 24P (or convert back to 23.976) and use the 3:2 pulldown flag (what would be the effects on the audio or would I just use the wave file encoded for DVD palyback)?
c) inverse telecene, & use AssumeFPS(29.970) or (30) to have a progressive source (also fine for the net). But, I need a little more clarification on the effects of a source of this type in regards to DVD viewing. I understand that the anime will play 'slighty' faster than it did on the original DVD, but how different will it be form just editing the original interlaced, exporting interlaced and buring to a DVD? I remember reading somethig about not being able to tell the difference a progressive video an an interlaced one...
Thanks for any help/suggestions...

Damn, you guys are quick!!... I read through some previous threads and incidnetly, something that Scintilla wrote also confirms what Zarzax suggested... i.e. use the 3:2 pulldown flag in TMPGEnc and handle the audio as the guid suggests. I can't say exactly that I know how to do this as yet, being that I haven't used TMPGEnc, (or loaded the pre-constructed profiles from the guids) but I'm confident that there is enough information to get the results that I need. Once again, Thanx a million for the quick feedback!!
