What happens in RKenshin TV straight after the 1st boxse?

Do I want to know??? On the subtitles for the last episode in the 1st boxset it says it's the last time we will see him... but it didn't say who... I'm now really curious, because I think they meant to tell us who it was... so who was it????

what has just happened at the end of the boxset?...i don't know episode numbers...or story arcs, i know events...

I think you guys are refering to the beginning of the Kyoto arc where:

Kenshin has to leave Tokyo and his friends behind in order to fight Makoto Shishio, the living burn scar who wants to start a violent revolution.

hmm...the first box set contains only the Tokyo Arc in which all the characters meet...the last of that arc would be when Kenshin left Kaoro to go to Kyoto which sorta started the next arc (Kyoto Arc). does that make any sense? ah ok heres the list of boxset titles then...

First boxset: Tokyo Arc: characters introduced and meet ended when Kenshin left to Kyoto.
Second: Kyoto Arc: fought Makoto...
Third: Shimabara Arc: after the battle in Kyoto they went back to Tokyo and was faced by another enemy...
Reflection: the very last eps for RK...

Not shown:
Jinchuu Arc: this happened after the shimabara arc but they didnt show it much less sell it here...

thanks alot... actually my boxset left off where that important guy talked to Kenshin about shishio, just after the kenshin-saito fight

The Jinchuu arc was never animated except in the OVAs. And even still, the 2nd OVA left out a lot of the stuff (but still it's understandable since it was only a 2-episode OVA). For instance, if you watched the 2nd Season, Shishio mentions that he bought the Rengoku (I guess it's called the Purgatory as the translation) from a "wealthy Chinaman". The manga goes a little bit more in depth into that later.

It tells how Enishi was the "Chinaman" that sold the ship to him and stuff. And none of Enishi's henchmen are in the OVAs either. Oh well, but a great conclusion to a great series. =(

And actually, the Shimabara arc was all completely fillers. None of that BS was in the manga. This was done because the manga wasn't done with the Enishi story. By the time they were done with the manga, the TV 3rd season lost so many viewers that it got cancelled before they could animate the Jinchuu arc.
