Hi im new here and i made this AMV a week ago. I was thinking of entering it here, but i was wondering if it was "ok" with fansub material (though i removed the subs) is there some kind of policy against it or...

Since it's your first AMV then using fansubs is ok, but for your future videos try using better quality sources.

you shouldnt talk about using fansubs. sometimes fbi guys lurk around here and if they find someone using a fansub, they track them, then tie them up to a chair and force them to EAT THE FANSUB (well, the hdd at least)

yeah, the fbi gets people for all sort of crap here. some guy got in trouble for posting this image because thiers no adult warning on this site. he hasnt bein here in some time so we dont realy know what they did to him

... Bum IS joking, you know.

Using fansubs is against site policy, but it's generally done on a "don't ask, don't tell" basis.

And we've discussed the legality of AMVs too many times in the past. Suffice it to say that the companies that distribute anime in the US really don't care about AMVs, because it's free (for them) publicity and they know it. Some even sponsor AMV contests, like the Org's own VCAs.
