video file in premiere
ok. well i imported an avi file i just converted from dvd2avi into premiere. and when i place a clip from that same avi file. nothing shows up on the monitor. this is the first time this has ever happened to me. im somewhat pissed cause i feel like editing so bad. can someone help?

BAD. You should have saved a project file (.D2V) and used AVISynth to send that to VirtualDubMod, and THEN save AVI file clips (or just edit directly with the scripts).
