What do you think of these ideas?

I have been in such a horrible slump lately, I haven't even opened up my editor in at least 3 months let alone actually accomplished anything. I have had three ideas though for new projects. I am kinda hoping that some feed back on these ideas might get me back in the game.



1) Van Halen - Can't stop loving you done to Angel Sanctuary focusing on the Setsuna and Sara, focusing alot on on the ring he gave her.

2) Bonnie Tylor - I need a hero done to Neon Genesis Evangelion focusing on Shinji but he starts out really unheroic and kinda grows into the role as the song progresses. ("And he's gotta be larger than life" done to the toothpick part at Misato's apartment) hehehe

3) Linkin Park - Figure.09 done to Neon Genesis Evangelion focusing on Shinji being changed by both his father and Unit 01.


Hate it, like it, let me know what you think. I gotta snap outta this slump some how.

(just be advised that the song has also been done at least 20 other times...)

Looks like those three are all remakes of an original one, so at least its not too bad. I'm just not quite sure how I want to proceed with this one, I keep thinking I want to try my hand at a comedy, make Shinji look like a goof trying to be the hero. On the other hand I thought about a more serious approach to that, showing him 'growing' into the role of a hero throughout the song. Cause lets face it, he isn't exactly hero material at the beginning.

Thanks for your thoughts and research into the idea Scintilla, maybe this will get me going again.
