Dvd Audio Help
Is there a way, to rip a dvd with the audio track only (and successfully convert it to wav)?

On Windows, I would use a program called SmartRipper to rip the elemetary audio streams. If the audio stream is an .ac3 file, you can then use HeadAC3he to convert the .ac3 file to .wav (not .mp3 or you'll lose quality). After that, you can import that .wav file into your video project.
On Mac, I use OSex to rip the audio stream as an .ac3 file and then use a52decX to convert the .ac3 file into .aiff which you can then use in your iMovie or Final Cut projects.
If you have .dts audio instead of .ac3, you're going to need to sample it manually by finding a way to stream audio from a DVD player into your computer's audio recording software. Audio Hijack for Mac makes this simple, I don't know of any equivilent for Windows unfortunately.
Hope that helps.
