It's advertising the old school games so people will buy them!x_rex30 wrote:Ummmm.... Too long!!!! >_< They play AMVs, along with Game previews, Music Videos that you'd see on MTV2, and commercials. Yah but it's not like they should only advertise classic games.Castor Troy wrote:It's advertising the old school games so people will buy them!x_rex30 wrote:Ummmm.... I'll do what I want to do with an AMV; I don't really care about promotion. If someone wants to go buy a CD or buy a DVD because of something they saw in an AMV I made, fine, whatever.x_rex30 wrote:So your saying you'd hate to promote anime with your AMVs? :xtrythil wrote:Yeah, maybe. So what?x_rex30 wrote:Your talking about anime sales buddy.
When that AMV is used for strictly for marketing purposes, though, that's where I'm going to draw the line.
For me.
You, and everyone else, are of course free to set your own boundaries. I've got mine.

But I'll tell you it's not just strickly that, I mean in the videos I saw showing, they say who it was made by.trythil wrote: When that AMV is used for strictly for marketing purposes, though, that's where I'm going to draw the line.
