avi problem

ok well i got the dvd to avi program form the org but when i try to import it into windows movie maker my comp cracshes how do i fix this

Make sure you're using DVD2AVI/DGIndex to save .D2Vs, then serve those with AVISynth scripts, as per <a href="/guides/avtechbeta/">the new guides</a>...

... then check out <a href="http://www.aquilinestudios.org/wmm2guide.html">my guide to getting anime DVD footage into WMM2</a> (you ARE using WMM2 and not WMM1, right?) (goes over both the script-wrapping method and the HuffYUV-clip-making method).
