Awww, does mean you like my AMVs? ^_^

There was one contest I entered at one time, but it was just a web based contest so I'm not sure if it really counts. I think it was for like moobies.net or something. I believe I submitted the old version of "Twist Of", "Plenipotentiary", so I wasn't exactly shocked or anything when it wasn't picked.

Not really sure how my current videos would fair in a big AMV convention contest, I would hope at least average. *shrugs*

If you are in fact Mad Hatter (having been AWOL for god knows how long, I dunno who anyone is anymore) then no, I personally don' like your AMVs.

...been AWOL? If you think I've been AWOL for any length of time then you probably haven't even seen my last two AMVs "Twist Of" and "Feeling This". I've actually been posting consistently for over 10 months now. I don't put up my videos on the .org anymore though, you have to go to my website if you want to see them: www.backwater-productions.net

Errr...unless you meant YOU'VE been AWOL...although then there's kinda the same difference, you probably haven't seen my latest work.

I left right about the time you were bragging about 'Forever', I'm assuming it was all downhill from there.

"Twist Of" and "Feeling This" are quite a bit better than "Forever". Forever had some neat parts as far as technical aspects, however I don't believe I was able to really capture the mood and feeling quite right (not as well as I wanted to anyway).

My latest project is gonna be REALLY neat, a Chrno Crusade AMV using the karaoke version of Adam's Song, but with my own lyrics that I came up with. The editing will be pretty simple, mostly just fades and overlays, but the point is going to be to concentrate on trying to capture the emotions rather than just be a technical marvel.

Anyways, back on topic...

Man I was so nervous for my first big contest (AWA 2004) that I almost forgot to go out and buy the blank DVD's and mail them!

Oh wait, that hasn't happend yet. *eyes newly purchased DVD's* I should probably do something about that before the last minute.
