Does it have anything to do with opinion exchanging right now!? It's becoming more off topic than an opinion exchange or something like that...

I think it's really hilarious that TommyRude's description of Abaddon's video is 99% wrong, but applies quite well to his own video :) Honestly Tommy, what was the f***ing point behind the lip sync? Why did you just take the original Linkin Park video and fade completely random clips in and out? Why did you use the fight against the third Angel for one of the choruses? WHY DID YOU PUT SHINJI IN THE BAND?!? Because it looked cool? Well, I have a surprise for you, looking cool is not as important as actual emotion and lyric connections, and whether you think so or not, Abaddon put more emotion and lyric connections into one verse than you did in your entire video.

I'm almost finished with my own In The End video, which is a Rei tribute. I was much less literal in my interpretation of the lyrics than Abaddon was, and I used only three fades in the whole thing - and only when they added a lot of emotional impact. I also used exclusively Eva footage, unlike SOMEONE...

She tried so hard, and got so far... She put her trust in Shinji... so many good lyrics... If only Premiere would function correctly...
Ask me about my secret stash of videos that can't be found anywhere anymore.

TommyRude and Abaddon's "In the End" videos are both good. I find the backbiting and slap-fighting going on to be pretty bushleague.

Both had the same sources and music. Of course there are gonig to be similarities. To have one accuse the other of stealing is ludicrous in this case.

I've left opinions for both videos.

You know Black, LOTS of people in Eva tried so hard and got so far. Whats your version going to add besides the "sucking" factor?

So three fades? Hmm I see it now, another "In The End" video with a overused anime with 4-6 long cuts with Rei in them! Goody....

Black, its people like you who make bad "Hero" videos and make retarded theads like this one.

In Closing, I'd Like to Say:

[ ] Suck ErMaC's dick
[ ] Blow me
[ ] Get a life
[ ] Never post again
[ ] Age 10 more years before you post again
[ ] I pity your dog
[ ] Yer momma's so fat/stupid/ugly that etc...
[X] All of the above

Fortunately, I keep a canned explaination of that video on hand for jus' such an occasion. Lemme open it up......
*snap**hssssssssssssss*
F'those of you who were too fucking stupid to read the comments on a-m-v.org an' ARP.com, the idea behind Eva Ep.27 was to create a true anime/live action hybrid. Bitchin' about it would be like bitchin' about Tainted Donuts havin' Trigun footage in it.
Now, it didn't start that way. In the earliest stages, Asuka was lip synching Mike's part of the song. This idea was dropped because it looked too damn funny. The second was to have Toji do it, because he kinda looks like Mike, but I decided that would take away from the fact that the video was about Shinji an' Asuka.. When it was all said an' done, I decided the best course of action would be to use the original LP footage, so it wouldn't come off as humorous or detract from the story. Wit' that in mind, the goal of makin it a hybrid video was added.
The chosen 'break track' was the lyrics. IOW, the scenes move wit the lyrics as opposed to the beat. Some don' like it, but S.O.L., thass a straight matter of opinion. (No doubt the troll this is responding to will jump all ova' that fact now that I pointed it out, but that will only prove the fact that he or she is a fuckin' troll an' will intice others to laugh at his or her stupidity.)
Now, as mentioned above, the theme of the vid is Shinji an' Asuka. Since their relationship in the series was far from typical love story fare, the video is pretty dark. The scenes are all basically excerpts from the series that match the lyrics to the song, while still centering on the love/hate relationship. Anyone who calls them random is trolling, nothing more nothing less. Well, maybe their' jus' really stupid, but thass not much better.

(End canned response) *buuuuuuuurp*

On a side not, why'd I put Shinji in the band? Simple, like I said before, the secondary goal of the vid was to combine anime wit live action. The addition of that scene was jus' an addition to that concept. Did it detract from the vid at all? Well, in all honesty it made a few people chuckle (another thing Black here will no doubt jump all over because frankly he's skating on thin ice an' needs as much bullshit to work wit as possible an' is stupid enough to complain about somethin' I point out wit'out thinkin' I'll call him on it.), but I think that when you look at it it doesn't take anything away from the story. The image that I got in my twisted little mind at the time was that Shinji was trying to talk to Asuka, an' Mike was jus' helping him do it.
I'm almost finished with my own In The End video, which is a Rei tribute. I was much less literal in my interpretation of the lyrics than Abaddon was, and I used only three fades in the whole thing - and only when they added a lot of emotional impact. This should be good, no doubt it'll make the top of YOUR favorite Eva vids list. If an' when you finish it (Considering that you probably don' waste any effort on your shit, it probably wont take long), I'll be sure to leave an HONEST review for you. An' I do mean honest. Because unlike worthless ass pounding trolls like you an' Abaddon, I don' bullshit. Jason thinks jus' cuz I gave him a negative review that he has free reign to make an ass of himself at my expense. Am I bitter? Yeah, a little. It sucks when your an asshole, but you're also the only asshole who has a brain an' doesn't bullshit. Cuz assholes like me are jus' honest, but assholes like you are full of shit. You try to act cool an' tough, but all you really are doin is compensatin for the fact that you'll neva' have sex wit'out hearin your dad say "Squeal like a pig for me, boy!"
She tried so hard, and got so far... She put her trust in Shinji... so many good lyrics... If only Premiere would function correctly...
Is' not premiere that doesn' function, is that pulpy mass in your head that you apparently are only usin to hold your hair in. I suggest you get someone else to get it to work for you. Something of higher intelligence, like a Lemur or some other kinda lower primate.

AN' thass the bottom line, cuz Rudeboy said so
Peace, I'm Out
