just stop watching romance anime. i hate it so i dont watch it. i watch more action oreanted anime well some romance anime here and there maybe some comedy but mostly action. all u need to do is take a break from the romance and watch something else.

You're acting as if anime is the only source of media that over glamourizes romance. It's not. Books, live action movies, even stupid little crappy sitcoms that no one watches make romance out to be so happy and special. But it's not in the real world, you may find the perfect person for you but the question is will they like you?

Alot of people manage to piss me off with their "Oh you'll find someone eventually" bullcrap. This is the real world, not a movie. Things aren't gonna turn out alright just because I try. But now I better cut myself off before this gets too off topic.

If your sick of watching perfect love stories, watch action. seriously get some violence in your head. Hell if you still want to watch a romance watch a comedy like Ranma 1/2. Their relationship (Ranma/Akane) is far from perfect. It's still far from real life, but still far from perfect too
